    2. my clinic pours my dose in the toilet in front of me if i arrive late. too bad,so sad has been said to me several times. they laugh as well.
    i have seen them pour it on the floor to other clients and then told them if you want it that bad,lick it up or they offered them a straw to suck it up.
    needless to say there have been many physical altercations there and outside when the staff leaves and goes to their cars.

    3. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I work as a counselor at a Methadone clinic and it saddens me that there are clinics out there making a bad name for the rest of us. Any other clinics close to you that you could try out?

    5. p.s. “Clients” (addicts) are known to LIE about how much opiates they are taking in order to get a higher dose of methadone – that’s why they wanted to test you in a week. It’s a very important part of the procedure. They can’t just take your word for it when you tell them what you’re doing and how much of it you’re doing.

    7. That’s pretty shitty the way that that clinic operates…but I know of some really ignorant conselors that have no business working with drug addicts. The clinic that i’m on now is awesome though…I’m glad that you are clean now..not getting on methadone was a good idea It’s hard as hell to kick..i’m going on 3 years on done now.

    8. I never doubted your Opium usage BTW, It is kinda rare now a days to hear of one smoking Opium, I was in detox in NYC with a boy from China Town that was smoking Opium too. Ppl were fascinated by this at the detox. Opium is a harder drug than Heroin? Really? I can see that, Heroin is so stepped on I was shocked when a bag (not 4) got me off “E”. I’m in the NYC area btw. What area are you from?

    9. I’ve been clean for over five years. I really did smoke opium. I can say that opium is to herion what fine wine is to malt liquor. But the level to which one can get addicted is SO HIGH with opium, compared to heroin, although herion is of course, nothing to mess around with.

    10. Stef Ellis, what’s the deal now? Are u clean? Not a lot of ppl smoke Opium so it sounds strange when one says they smoke Opium and not black tar. Where r u from anyways? Is there more than 1 clinic in your city? How did u clean up? R U still smoking or did you progress to Heroin?

    11. Can u get in if u call before hand and let them know if there is problem? My place will be cool if u are running late or the weather is wicked. If u keep calling in late and are a fuck up (keep smoking crack,popping xanny’s,shootin dope) they will X-Nay keeping the door open after 10/6 for your dumb ass. Can’t blame em, can u? Other places do not even do what they do for u to begin with.

    12. I am on a clinic that closes the doors at 10 am sharp or 6 pm if your a afternoon doser. If you call and the call is legit they will not close the doors on you. I live about 2 miles away and last winter my BF who works 1 hour away from our home rushed home in a seriously wicked snowstorm to get me to the clinic by 6pm, we were in a white out blizzard mind you, I pulled into the parking lot at 6:00pm and I rushed in the last person of the day, the had my dose ready knowing I was going to make it.

    13. thats not bullshit–i was on the clinic for three years and they locked the doors at 11am on the dot weather u were walking to the door or pulling up or whatever it sucked to be u on that day…and at 8am on the weekends

    15. Why does it matter (to either of you) wether it’s opium or boy or oxycontin, etc. Opiate addiction is opiate addiction is opiate addiction. And there is a difference between methadone detox (which is what you think you want) and opiate replacement therapy (which is what they were offering.
