Well..your comment really had nothing to do with my comments to Rush. However, I do agree that this is a matter of faith. Those who do not have faith in Christianity (such as me), see the New Testament as a reflection of the times that was completely rewritten and bastardized by the many Ecumenical councils that came after Jesus’s time.

Jesus WAS human. I do not think that the left try to humanize him. I think that people like me, see Jesus for who he was (IF he existed) as a human being,

Regarding your comments about Rush. It’s a matter of accepting Christ on Faith. That what Jesus said he was, (God in the flesh).Christians accept it on Faith. The Political left likes to humanize Christ. Make him sort of radical. The Jewish Pharasees saw Jesus as a threat. Jesus was merely the fullfillment of phrophesy of the old testament. God in the flesh. Please keep in mind the scriptures state that a ‘fool says in his heart that there is no God.”

Wow! I’m not very much up on my scriptures but, I thought Jesus reacted in the temple that way because people were selling things (or working) in the temple maybe even on the holy sabbath thus defiling it. And also when you say Jesus was a rebel it makes me think he was a law breaker. I think Jesus taught against that. (does’nt mean you said he was a law breaker though.)And if your wrong it does’nt mean your a liar, maybe just mis informed. I could be wrong too, but I did say “I think”

I agree. Jesus has always been politicized, and the right has capitalized on it for ages. This is the struggle that has been going on since society began, and Jesus was not conservative. He questioned authority, hated the greedy, loved his neighbor, found salvation in nature, and struggled against a system that he let killed him.

The questions to ask are who would Jesus bomb? Who would he torture? Who would he tax? Hold accountable for abuse of power? Forgive? Love?

The right is anti-Christ.
