  2. Im on methadone and I know people on suboxone but what is subutex? I live in America and no, they dont give this stuff away for free usually, I have to pay for my methadone but there are some clinics that let u in free depending on your finacial status but suboxone I dont think is ever free, very expensive. I would like to know of other options out there if u can tell me about subutex. The heroin life is hell, methadone saved my life and Im so happy for u too, I just hate some of the side effects

I was on methadone a while ago, relapsed b/c i couldnt pay for it then was back on heroin for another year, I recently got back into the program & Im so much better off but I do agree with u when u say u were asleep the whole time. Its way too hard to ge off cold turkey so Im trying this the right way this time but I cant stand the fact that Im so tired throughout the day, I dont get high off it just really tired. Do you know of anything I can do to help that? Probably not! Anyways, good luck!

  18. He did! a few weeks went by, and the Spirit of God came upon me and washed me. I no longer had the desires to do those things. That day, my desires were removed and replaced with new ones. I did not want to do drugs any more, nor drink, nor smoke, not even cuss. God is amazing! He helped me more than I could have ever though. Eph3:20 at a glance! The earnest of the Spirit! Blessed be His name!

  20. I did not do heroin, but I did XTC, cocain, meth, and various others. Jesus Christ set me free! Blessed be His name! One day, I was fornicating and recovering from the day after partying, and I had to stop having sex and it was like I was given eyes to see the sin I was it. I realized it. The fear of God came upon me, and I shortly after stormed out of the woman’s house. I wondered around the neighborhood with this word in my mind, “the truth shall set you free”. I sat and prayed “God help me”.

  26. Suboxone for one is not trash I am on it and it works very well.. Also I am sure he was not happy without the suboxone because when you get addicted to heroin and try to quit cold turkey the chances of you actually stayin clean are very very small.. People do not understand and underestimate heroin addicts some people think they just need to quit doin the dope for a few days maybe a couple of weeks and they will be better but no My opinion and me bein a former addict is get Professional Help!!

  28. the real treatmeant is our strong will (i don’t know the right expression in english) “força de vontade” and we always need to remember that heroin is in every corner and no matter how long we’re clean there’s always the danger of falling down on teh web of heroin…

  30. Believe me that movie has nothing to do with reality ,but your eight when you say you gotta love yourself in order to quit heroin ,but removing yourself from “dangerous” situations is not as simple as that ,situations seem to follow us everywhere, and in order for someone to be clean it needs to be at least 5 years without using heroin or any substitute, the only way i feel clean is when i’m not taking anything ….

  34. LMAO pure stonage, that was a classic comment. I know a lot of junkies, I try and stay away but i’ve dabbled with a few opiates, but people don’t really understand that, that doesn’t make us less human. Two of my good friends became addicted while serving in Afghanistan, so who is anybody to judge them when the horrors of war surround you and heroin is at every corner?

  36. I know a heroin addict and they seem empty inside. Hopefully she will see the light soon and realize that she is a great person and drugs can ruin your life. I do feel for all drug addicts and understand you cannot just “quit cold turkey.” The best way to stop using drugs is by loving yourself and removing yourself from situations where people are using them. Heroin is a terrible addiction and if you’ve ever seen the film Trainspotting you’ll see what it can do to you.

  42. suboxin is trash its just another drug, he was happy without the suboxin, and just being clean off of heroin, he suffers from a spiritual malady my friend.

  46. I agree with you that drug use and addiction can ruin a persons life. I am not sure about the “straight jacket” thing however. We can always agree to disagree agreeably on that issue. Thanks for sharing your comments. Remember, “Love wins!”

  48. I disagree with you on this statement. Sorry. We need to communicate a message of hope and help for drug users in the hopes that they will change…and they can break their cycle of addiction if they choose to. I respect your right to express your opinion however. Remember, “Love wins!”
