yoo richard thats nuts i saw this video im actually doin the same shit, tryin to wean myself off.. im down to takin a quarter of one every other day. Once u stop, keep one extra tucked away just incase. 4 thoes who dont kno, suboxen is the shit if u are addicted to painkillers. even when u cut off the subs u feel like shit, but not nearly as bad as u would as painkiller withdraw.. so ask ur doc about it, it saved my life n im still on em. no regrets.

its not trading one for the other considering the fact that its controlled by your dr. Its also not near as bad for you as heroin or pain killers…I was hooked on oxycontin for 4 years snorting around 160mg a day and I’ve been on suboxone for over 2 yrs now..amazing drug saved my life

it stops the withdraws from heroin and pain pill addiction. it’s not good at all to try to get high on. it taste like shit and doesn’t give you a good high. i would strongly recommend not using it unless you are badly addicted.

Suboxone is dangerous because it allows you to continue to use heroin as often as you like, while avoiding any of the negative effects. This was the case with me, who only recently weened myself off of suboxone. I eventually was not able to get it from my friends for free any longer, and so I was at the point where I just had to pretend I had the flu, and lay in bed for 5 days. After it was all over, I felt so free. I haven’t used heroin or suboxone since.

hey rachel,
i’ve been on suboxone for a bit and I love it compared to methadone!
I HATED the clinic so it’s nice to be in control.
Sub. is much easier to ween off of (WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT) and your doc will help with other meds when u get to the uncomfy part.

when you take drugs like suboxone you’re not going through the withdrawls therefore not overcoming them because all you’re doing is masking the anguish. i have a feeling and its already starting too show its ugly face but now people are getting addicted to suboxone. im a addict myself my advice to you is ween yourself of it. as of now i havent seek any treatment but im studying to be a nurse and i do alot of research. i know its hard but be tough good luck!

im not sure about why it said to burn as incence but everyone says you just take it but i dont know the story behind all that but anyway i burned it the first time i used it and it gave me a really bad headache and so i took it like my ucle said u were supposed to and it worked but u have too take what seems like alot but it just takes a bit more than u would think to work but look on the int. for dosing suggestions to make sure how much and u might try looking up ibogaine on here goodluck!!!…

sorry i just keep running out of room but anyway do the xanex help you at all when u are in with-drawls because i have some of the kind that are blue or purple and oval but i cant stand to take them and i have cut the halfs into halfs and then took that small piece but it still makes me feel so wiered and i was wondering if they do that to you any??? and if they set you back any when getting off the opiats…Have you tried or thought about it and do you know what i mean about setting you back ?

the dope sickness isnt good at all and i cant stand it but good luck on those few days withought anything but yeah the suboxone does have kind of a buzz to it when u take it but its nothing like what methadone does because i used to take that methadone and it really made me fly i was so hight but it really helped me kick the other stuff but anyway the suboxone is more in the relm of making you feel normal and not high, but does have a little bit of a mood booster where it makes you feel happy…

I have to taper to 30mg in a week and a half to get to thirty and then I will go on it after i take my last dose on saturday the 24 I will go without methadone till Tuesday when they will give me suboxone. I am not looking forward to that time period with nothing. i have some xanax to help with the withdrawal but I am a wuss when it comes to being dope sick. does the suboxone make you feel good?

yes the suboxone works good..but i just dont recomend it at all now because its just trading one for the other if u are going to stay on it for a long time and most doctors are starting people out on like 16 and 20 ml. which i think is way way too much because i was on stuff really bad and my doc. put me on 8mlg.when i first started and that was fine but i know it effects ppl diff. but it might take a few days to work on you to let the methadone get out of your system but anyway good luck!!…..

i would say they are about the same allthought i think suboxone may last longer its about the same and really i wouldnt stay on the suboxone very long at all maybe a month tops and try to do the best you can …i know what u are going through and its no picnic but also if you were taking sompthing for a pretty good while and then took suboxone ..it wont work for a little while depending on how much other stuff u took before if not alot it may take a day or 2 to start working like it should

I hope the sub doesnt suck as that is what I will be on in a couple weeks instead of methadone. methadone sucks! I have to drive to get it and its 300 dollars a month. Hey Richard good luck to you I’m in the same struggle recovering 5 year heroin/methadone/opioid addict who is currently on suboxone and it isn’t helping. Was wondering how you would compare the suboxone wd to methadone wd because I just came off methadone and am on subs and I still feel terrible and it’s day 6. The anxiety and depression are horrible and I know they would be worse without subs but it’s still bad.
