Like you said at the end, it’s a really bad idea to try to take other painkillers while on suboxone. I have been taking suboxone for almost 6 months now. One day I found like 10 vicodin in my house and I just couldn’t help myself. I just wanted to feel the full agonist opiod so bad, so I tried waiting about 48 hours to let the suboxone wear off. Turns out that wasn’t long enough, and I ended up taking all the vics within 12 hours only to be dissappointed since the sub. blocked half the effects.

maple’ just wondering were u on methadone before u started taking sub. If so how long did u wait between ur last methadone dose and ur 1st sub dose. I have been addicted to PK’s for 10 yrs. but have been on methadone for the last year. down to 5 mgs right now and I’m sick as hell. I was a nurse before this got hold of me’ and I LOST IT ALL. I’m hoping the subs. will help me find my way back. peace my friend…

Hey, thanks for the support man. I actually just got back from there on feb 28th.That was my secound tour, first one was in 2004. And i have to say this time around, i came home with a crazy ass withdrawal and a crazy addiction on my hands. But its all good. thanks for the suboxone. but they had some cheap and some good dope over there. Lots of soldiers got hooked.

I used to get them from the doc. but since i’m in the Army now, i’m getting them of the street since i tend to move alot and i can not have the Army find out about my addiction. Plus they are pretty cheap on the street. $10 a pill, wich comes out pretty much same as from the doc. since when you getting from the doc you have to pay for the script and then for pills them selfs, wich range from 6 to 12 dollars. plus if you buy a quantity from the streets they give you pretty decent discount deal.

Are you getting your Subs from a doc or the street? Yeah, Ive been in rehabs, detox, counceling, everything many times and nothing ever worked, I was back using within a week or so. Im the type of person that even if Im totally clean and not sick at all, I will still just fall back to using, its like Ive lost something and the only thing that will ever make me normal is opiates, plus Im an addictive person, but thats why Im on Subs, it gives me what I need and I can move on with life you know

Off and on for about 11 years. Started from percs and vics at about 15, moved to dope around 17-18. In my neck of woods we dont have tar, only powder, so i was snorting for about 2 years and then my dose whent up to about a bundle, so i started to shoot, been shooting ever since….Whent to army to kick the habit, were clean for a little bit, but ofcourse found it there as well. Not it is my another attempt to kick it, since i’m going to a diffrent state with my unit on april 6th.

Started taking vic’s, perc’s and methadone at 15 then to oxy’s around 17-19, then from age 19 to now, powder dope and then shooting. Im 23 now. I only snorted powder heroin for about 2 years and promised myself I wouldnt shoot, then eventually my dude ran out of the powder and only had tar, so I had to start shooting the black tar for the last year and a half, after that even if i could get the powder I still would have shot it up you know.. so about 8 years of opiates all 2gether. you?

Yeah it does take out most cravings, you still will get some every now and then, ive been on it almost 2 years and theres been a time or two when Ive not been able to take my dose for some reason, and you do get sick. Not as bad as heroin but still bad, its no joke. You will be hurting, but if you ween correctly youll have very little withrawls ive heard, but im going to be on it a lot longer so im not worrying about it. Im safe on it and even after 2 years not ready by far to be off.. scarey..

Im Sorry about that man, it sucks. When I went on I hadnt done any heroin in about a day (24hrs) and I didnt get sick, but everyones different, I hope you still go on the Suboxone because it WILL help and save you from your addiction, dont take anymore heroin, we both know that road is a dead end, stick it out and go back, I hope all goes well and hope this hasnt made you go back to using, let me know what happens buddy. – stay clean

I guess i took it to early after my last heroin dose. fucked up thing is, after taking it, and after getting sick, nothing can calm you down. I did a bundle and a half and still felt sick, today is the first day i start to feel better.

I’m most certainly not being “irresponsible”. Everything I said in this video came straight from documents written and PROVEN by Licensed Addiction Physicians aswell as confirmed by my own licensed doctor withwhome I am good friends before I even posted the video. I am very educated on Suboxone and Methadone. Ive taken both and have studied both, but regardless of that, everything I state about any medication is FACT and comes from doctor-researched sources, maybe you should do some yourself.

Some people will need suboxone/methadone for life you know, but that is fine as long as they are happy, it is nobodies business. We dont tell people taking insulin to stop because they need it for there whole life, so why down those who are just more welloff staying on a mantenence drug, if you can go completely clean than great, but as with many people, opiates have damaged us beyond repair and if I need suboxone for life than i just do, but i AM clean and happy and that is all you can ask for

Thanks man, I have hopes of oneday getting off. As I have explained in other vids, some people like myself are basically just too powerless over our addiction. We have tried and tried HARD to go clean but no matter how stable we think we are we will most likely relapse. I am comfortable on Subox and I feel that I am “CLEAN” in the sense that I no longer have to con and hurt people everyday for drugs and that essentially is all that counts. If your happy and suboxone/methadone works than great.

Im posting vids soon that go more in debth about the two drugs and offer opinions with the hope to get opinions from others too. Im also putting up vid about more suboxone myths like affinity issues aswell as abuse factors and relation to other opiates chemically and effectively. People try to make suboxone seem less than it is but I have shown in previous videos and will in the future prove morover that suboxone is not only affective but IS the new tool in fighting our disease with more results
