i am sorry so many of you hase lost friends and relatives from this . i am currently on methadone and xanax, legally. i guess this really drove home for me NOT to ever mess with the dose. I am currently seeking a detox centre to get off methadone. maybe somewhere in the US / UK- good place to get off everything that is ok $ wise would be helpful to me. I was in a coma due to the same medication your brother took. I am sorry for your loss. What happened was both xanax and methadone are central nervous system depressants. It is a lethal combo that doctors never warn patients about. First your fall asleep, become unconscious, then you stop breathing and your heart stops. Again, sorry for your loss. I, too, have lost friends to the mixing of methadone and xanax. My answer to the problem is twofold. First, stop allowing pain clinics to prescribe methadone. Second, require monitored urinalysis at methadone clinics so xanax abusers can’t sneak in clean urine and fool urinalyses. Give people on clinics a choice, methadone OR xanax. Don’t attack a treatment that can work and saves lives.

Some people just dont understand. If you wanna get high why even bother getting on meth. I’ve been on Meth for 5 years now and its the only thing that has kept me straight. I have a weeks worth of takehomes.I pay $3 A WEEK!! If you stay clean and give a clean urine once a month they lower the cost and you get more takehomes that way.
It can work if you want it to but if your taking pills with your Meth then your just not ready to stop getting high thats all.

I was up to ~25 bars almost daily at one point. I would go through binges where I would take massive doses of anything everything I could get my hands on.
