I was on 130mg of methadone and 7mg of xanax for 5 years.
Slowly everything I used to do in life fell away.
I entered a detox where they cut off the methadone and replaced it with a short acting opiate for 9 days. I was still very sick. At that point I was transferred to Subutex. And I was still sick for several weeks. At Six weeks I was off the subutex. Klonipine replaced the xanax and after a few months I used neurotin to taper off the benzo. Clean 4.5 years. It can be done.
What do you think I should do,I am disabled and have chronic pain.I’ve been on methadone now for about 6-7 years,and take anywhere from 80-130mg a day
I was at75mg and now im at 60mg going down 3mgs every two weeks Thank You for posting your videos i think i saw one before , they are helpful and informitive . Also…. its just comforting to SEE others who have SUCCESSFULLY completed a methadone program because here at the clinic where I goes, everyone seem to not even planning get off they seem to be happy with it which the complete opposite of me , i mean methadone saved my life don’t get me wrong , i dont hate like most. i just want off
