hey man, i wouldn’t trade my worst day in sobriety for my best day partying or using. it’s great to hear you’re off the methadone, done with the suboxone soon too that’s great, that stuff is expensive even with insurance. Keep in mind, you can recover from this illness and cease fighting it. easy does it buddy

Good for you bro. I was hooked on coke for two years but I was able to quit cold turkey with the help of my wife who is a godsent. The worst shit I have ever been through. Keep up the great work and good luck to you my friend.

You’ll feel like shit (mentally) for a while, but after 30 days even you’ll be kicking it good, 60, then 90..fuck forget about it, you’ll be fucking superman. My bro is 1+ years clean, from it all and the difference is like watching a movie. Take my advice for what it’s worth, although some people really should stay on suboxone forever…the ones with no will power. Stay strong bro. Pz

Dude, I’ve been myself…fuck methadone and fuck suboxone..althougth if you truely need some managment temporarily, go for suboxone, then fucking quit..if you’re ony any opiate, you’re not clean plane and simple, you know it, we all do. I hit 2+ weeks 3 weeks ago then relapsed, now onto a week clean..i threw my suboxone away. Get another doctor and tell the clinic to fuck off. I got my bupe so easily, it was like a revolving door and a 3min sit down talking bullshit. Just find another Dr.

Go back to Oxy’s for a few weeks and then go to the suboxon. Alot easier to start. Let me tell you….It’s HELL swapping from 90 mg’s of Methadone to suboxon but if you do try it….just tough it out and wait the few hours that you’ll be in withdrawls from hell.

Well the good (or bad if your abusing still) still thing about suboxone is the naltrexalone blocks the opiate effects, subutex doesn’t. Not too sure what your look on it is. try and be as optimistic as possible. with sleep and everything it takes years, with no opiates at all seems impossible, be carful comin off done c/t! If you want to chat let me know I ve been on oxycotin, you name it Ive been prescribed it for my shoulder.. I know methodone is the most brutal medication on high doses even if you are opiate tolerant. fell asleep in a bath tub for four hours on it blacked out in front of my four year old. I m only thirty one here. its been ten years going to rehab long term opiate use suboxone is not successful as rehab and pain patients recovery is hard I ve ignored alot of people too, trying to find a wayout
