I have been a competitive swimmer for 12 years. It uses basically everything exept for the biceps. It mostly uses back and triceps. Other muscles are chest, shoulders, glutes, and core.

I’m not a swimmer, I do bodybuilding and never have shoulder problems apart from a slight discomfort when performing overhead chest pulls. Last night I went swimming for some cardio and both of my shoulders were very agitated by swimming, they almost felt like they were being forced out of place. Today they are a little sore from the swimming. Is this likely to be flexibility issues within my shoulder?
My shoulders as well as all other muscle groups realize that we just show up and perform the funeral.

just wondering is there any point in doing one rep max sets particularly in the bench press, in terms of gaining strength and build, will i get stronger in doing this, or is it better to perform 10-12 reps of a lower weight?
