i fucking hate methadone. yeah it got me off the oxys. but ive never been so goddamn lazy in my life.i dont even wanna leave the house.
it did help when i dropped a bit,but i kept going cause im so sick of being on this stuff.
it;s messing up my head ,i just know it is.
im at 15 mg a aday now and doing great. i hope it goes smooth all the way to the end.

if youre sick of methadone,give it a shot and taper down slowly. 5 to 10 mg a month til you hit the wall and athen go slower. cheers

Switching to soboxone or subutex isn’t a good move. All my friends did it and its just trading & they’re both hard to get off of. I’m in the same boat your in. I’m on methadone & I want off so bad. I’m scared of the d.t’s but I know I’m gonna have to man up or I’lll live like this 4ever. & now all the detox’s won’t take methadone patients here b/c it’s to risky. So I pray we find an answer and have the strength and courage to do it.

I’m on the clinic in Trenton, NJ. I go 6 days a week and pay $75 a week. I’m down to 50mgs and thats a good dose 4 me. Luckily my family Dr. juss agreed to prescribe it so my insurance will cover it. Meth does make u lazy though. Try dropping to a lower dose. That worked for me. Hit me back. Good Luck .

I’ve been on methadone for 5 years, started at 110 mil. for 4 yrs. In the last tear I’ve tappered slowly all the way down to 4 mil. So far I haven’t had any withdrawls at all. Once your down so low it’s primarily psychological. I think anyone can and should get off if they try.

Its roughly about 5.20-5.60 a gallon where i live.
I have about a 20 min drive every morning to the clinic, it gets pretty expensive here too but what can you do right? Kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. Im only on my 7th day right now but i will be getting carries in about 3 days. So i wont be having to drive across town everyday for much longer…hopefully anyway.
I pay 4 dollars a day for my methadone, how much for people with no coverage where you live?
