  6. it’s tough thing bro. Hang in there.

IAnd it’s not the glasses that make you look dorky, it’s the moustache.

All things aside, keep the faith and stay away from junk…….no matter how tasty is seems.

  8. Weening does work but you have to be patient with the process. I try to find something to do when I feel like I may relapse. I try to have a plan. If I am having trouble I will go for a run, take a walk, call a friend… just anything to change the situation. That doesn’t work so well when you are at work but you can find things to do there as well. You can do this. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Do the best you can and be willing to make mistakes. We all do. Good Luck Richard.

  10. You gotta have hobbies. Fishing, art, exercise, whatever. I think that is the key. I have been on it for a few years. They say, the chance of relapse gets alot smaller, but not until you’ve been clean 5 years. I know subs are drugs too, but I have faith that I can ween myself down to 2mgs, then 1, the 1/2, you get the idea. You can’t just quit at 2mg and expect everything to feel fine.

  14. you guys are idiots. Subs is not anything compared to any other withdrawals. It doesnt have any. Stop trying to scare people from taking subs. It works! you use it for 3 months and you dont ever have to go back to pain killers or subs again.

its not made for long term use

    use subs for 3 months

    and be happy

it was a PIECE OF CAKE quitting the subs

    its all MENTAL!!!!

  18. Hey. I was 19 yrs old banging 3-7 4mg dilaudid for about 3yrs…Call me crazy, but spending my life savings in one month, pawning everything I owned, and stealing from friends and family is what I call being “pretty hooked”….

  26. im on methadone and iv got atleast 8 friends on suboxone. iv seen a few of my mates get off this pretty easy…why dont you just slowly reduce like everyone else….just keep cutting bits off the tabs every couple of days or even every few weeks if you wana do it slow./ There is no doubt you will get dope sick, but its gota be done if you wana be free from chemical handcuffs.

  28. hey man i dont hav many tips cuz im on subs rite now, but i can say this; suboxin w/d is 1/2 of wat dome w/d is, ive gone thru both (includin precipitated w/d) ur beter off quittin subs than u r quitin domes, methadone is tough as shit to get off considr urself lucky. but just keep urself busy, start workin out, go running for half an hour everyday, it help me wen i missed my dose at methdone clinic. think of it like a breakup, jus keep busy..good luck

  34. richard1240: i just want to know how you are doing. Watching your video & reading 1st post is so real & same here, other than being female. Some subx users say everything is blocked from them. I smoke weed & its so not blocked. Thats the only outlet left, quit drinking, everything. This addiction screwed me up bad. I cant & dont eat unless i ’smoke’ even w subx still no appetite ever. Did you get off subx ever? Or do you plan on it?

  35. Imbroken420 on Mon, 25th May 2009 9:18 am
  36. you said it. Same story started w half perc which led to eatting fetanol patches. I watched people around me do oxys & led them to shoot up, can say i never did. I found METHADONE, went thru clinic scene & learned more. ‘after your dose eat benzos to get heroin feel’ i loved it. Finally gave in detox 5mg a day & been on subx since jun08 take one to two 8mg a day & cant quit this now. How can something so small do this?

  37. RichardF41230 on Wed, 27th May 2009 5:32 pm
  38. iv heard of doctors giving pain patches that have buprenorphine in them and you just put one on and its the same med. as suboxone has in it but without naloxone, but the only thing i have heard doctors say if you have pain ,is , either live without the drugs or live with them because you cant do them both and cant have them both and you have to choose ,so i hope i helped and i allways hear people saying weed dont addict ppl but i got addicted to it and everyone that i have seen on it cant stop.

  40. ok so the guy who owns this account means a lot to me, now he is quite addicted to his pills percocet generics and not prescribed the pure oxycontin, now if he takes suboxone how would he deal with the pain the pills were prescribed for? Would Marijuana be an option as there is no true addiction to it? Any suggestions would help just message this account, stating to Jeff to help him as he doesn’t want to quit and die a junky with a needle in his arm soon.. IF anyone can help thanks so dearly.

  42. no i take it every now and then when i get lil cravings here and there but as far as gettin off of it i have.. I ran out of my pres and i have a few friends that are on suboxone so if i feel or get a craving for the H then i just get a few suboxone from them until i feel like i dont need it which is about a week or somethin.. but its def gettin better the thing that sucks is i dont think the craving part will ever go away because the power behind heroin is so strong and addictive..

  43. RichardF41230 on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 3:05 pm
  44. thats good that you didnt get addicted to it ,some people dont for some reason ,i know its not in your head, but oh well everyone is different so are you off suboxone now??

  48. I would have to say that the darv was not as addictive as the suboxone was. It made me feel much much higher than the darv. That doc that I was seeing would write anything you wanted. It’s not a surprise that he’s no longer practicing Medicine. It’s partly my fault for allowing myself to become addicted. But I mostly blame him. I’m only a human being. He came close to putting me 6 feet under several times. But I have gotten past that now. I hope all is well with you Richard :)
