ive been on percs/oxys for 2 yrs…now im trying to ween off,been sweating and insomnia for weeks,the anxiety and panic attacks are getting worse,i always had a slight anxiety problem,but since i started the pills its worsend like 8 times more.

I think i need to get myself to the hospital to get some methadone… My friend went to doctor and told him that his addicted to codeine and doctor prescribed him methadone (weird)… fucking lucky guy… 20 hours of high….

hi chrissty, i’m on methdone and have been for 2 yrs now and i to was afriad to get on it but didn’t want to go through the withdraws and i to have kids and whats to be sick when you have to take care of ur kids,so it has been a blessing to me and my husband but now we want to get off it we have to go to the methdone place 3 times a week also but still i’m sick of it so i’m looking into this drug called lbogaine it get’s u off with no withdraws ,look on youtube that’s how i fond it,good luck

I was on hydro for 5 years & switched to the methadone clinic & wish I had never started!I have been in the clinic now for 6 or 7 years & I HATE IT! I have been checking into the weismann method (rapid detox)You are completely detoxed in about 1 hour.They put u to sleep so u dont feel withdrawls.If you type in rapid detox on youtube theres a guy that they show having it and afterwards he feels ok(well a little weak but no withdrawls)check it out.If u need someone to talk to message me anytime.

well yes we have suboxone here but ya i do have a therapist but she isnt crap and thats for sure lol and me and my sis umm thats not gonna happen anytime soon I wish but it wont. My kids taking them to the clinic with me isnt a problem really its all the other stuff! thanks for commenting. How long were you on methadone? I have been on it for 3 yrs.

see if you can switch to subutex (temgesic). You will have to get down to at least 15mg meth first, then reduce subutex. do you not have a drugs counsellor at meth clinic to advise you??
subutex worked 4 me! as 4 yr kids….. make friends with yr sis and see if she will look after them while you at clinic?(your dream says you need to make up!!!). will be a break for u and change 4 kids.

yes I guess I read your other comments first so thats why I was saying to sub to me then haha but ya Im always seeking ppl with experience with the same thing I had with methadone and why they were or are on it. I had a huge pill addiction to soma and vicodin and tylenol 2,3,4 or any pain pill basically that had codeine or hydrocodone in it lol..sometimes i dabbed in xanax or valium but opiates and soma’s were my life and it was a sad thing. maybe we can share sometime i will keep in touch!

OPiates is a genuine physical thing. You cannot equate opiate physical dependence with anything. You are useless without it, useless. Cocain, alcohol etc, you can still function, without opiates you can’t even move!

ya your driving far but ya I think my clinic gives ppl that drive farther more takehomes too I have to go m-w-f and I live like 30 miles round trip but ya I was doing pills too but snorted H for maybe 8mths right before I stopped and i started liking it cuz I stopped with the pills. I was clean and stayed clean since I started with them…that’s your best bet. Right now I get a weeks worth of take homes. They typically don’t give you take homes until after 60-90 days but everyone’s different. I got mine after 30 days since I drive 90 miles one way to get there, that plus work. So most places will work with no. And no, I’ve never shot up before. I was popping pills.

I’m right there with you! Methadone is literally liquid handcuffs. Being stuck on methadone creates sooo many problems that I wish I never started on this but I didn’t know then what I do now. The best thing to do is wean down to 30mg and transfer to suboxone. That’s what I’m working on doing now. Methadone alone, quiting it, will keep you sick for months…yes MONTHS! Suboxone is the only way from what I’ve researched. Atleast the easiest way. Cuz you know that the sickness is the worst.

yes thats so true! I not so open to everyone in my world I guess I just feel like Im here and everyone else in the world is there so its easier haha. I just feel like sometimes that gosh I quite for this…but I have to learn I cant always cover things up I have been numb for so many yrs I just cant believe it all now.
