  4. Dude, if you cared about heroin addicts in the slightest, you wouldn’t be directing them in the direction of Suboxone. The doctors only want your money, and if you’re like me, you’re uneducated on the whole opiate maintenance program. They kept me on this medication for A YEAR AND A HALF, and I had a harder time coming off Suboxone than I ever did with Oxycontin or even heroin.

    Shame.

  10. Well I just wanted to inform you, that I DO live in PA. I get Suboxone from a clinic, it was only a 2 week wait (for anyone), and there’s a sign when you walk in that says, your visit costs us $59.95 to see you every visit. But you only have to pay them what you can afford…I have never paid more than $20. And actually, the last couple of times, I didn’t pay them a dime. So did I get very lucky and find the only place in PA, that helps you without draining your wallet? Email me for information.

  16. If you wanted heroin, you would have found the money whether you sold your mom’s wedding ring, neighbor’s TV, or your own ass.

Don’t be a burden to society in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you want prescription methadone, move to NYC.

  24. I am a recovering heroin addict, i’m taking Subutex to help me get out of bed and function and your completely right, it cost me 750$ upfront for the initial visit for treatment. Heroin addiction is epidemic, i believe it is the most damaging thing to our society and communities. Heroin addicts are normal people that just got lost somewhere along the way, prevention and treatment can stop this disease and help people. Doctors, don’t worry about junkies being in your office, usually u cant tell.

  26. im glad you made this video. In chicago I have called many doctors and was treated rudely over the phone and in person as well. Your description of these doctors are accurate. Another thing is the high cost of the medication. I dont have insurance and a big chucnk of my check goes to suboxone. Its definitely worth it but I hope generics will be available soon

  34. the methadone clinic in chester county is a effing rip off. Me and my husband are fighting to get our lives back but the clinic costs so much and they encourage you to stay on the methadone instead of getting on with your life. they don’t take insurance. ME and my husband both have normal jobs so we cant get state assistance unless we dont. how is this helping me get on with my life. There is not enough help for people who really want it.

  36. Thank you. We all need all the help we can get to make it in this world; however, people with addictions need a double blessing and luck. So thanks!

  38. I am glad to help. I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of heroin addiction as well as drug addiction in general. The toll on human life is heartbreaking and the social-economic costs are staggering. I am glad you are getting the Sebutex. That is wonderful. Changing your thoughts processes will be essential for you to be successful in winning the battle against your addiction. Take good care of yourself. I care!
