I’ve been on Suboxone for 2 months now due to opiate abuse of morphine and lortabs, but I’m dealing with spinal disease and chronic pain. The Suboxone has completely taken away ALL of my pain I’ve been dealing with for the past 4 years. It’s been amazing. I don’t crave drugs anymore. My only complaint is the taste, blechk!!!

I am a student mental health nurse in England. This video was very useful to me, I am on placement working with heroin users who also have schizophrenia. I think you are right, it is not a weakness, but an illness, and people should be respected and helped, not judged and shunned. I hope when I qualify in 2011, I can help to stamp out stigma.
