  2. suboxone is alot easyer to get off than methadone, my doctor said when im ready to come off the meth, ill swap to suboxone. it is alot better. 8 of my friends are on suby and they say its better than methadone and 2 of them justy come off it faily easy, they were just cutting 2 mgs off thier dose a week, its a slow prosess but it can be done. i hope youre good now coz its been 4 months since you made that comment, stay strong mate.

  8. agreed, ppl hwho arnt on methadone just dont fukn gert it, they think we have swaped one drug 4 another but there is alot more to it than that..no needles and scum cunt drug dealers in my life now…and thats only a few good sides to being on the program, there are so many “goods” than there are “bads” to methadone. dont believe the bullshit ppl, methadone DOES help (if used like you are ment to).

  10. “jacesfam” i too am on methadone and it my be more addictive but it sure has changed my life, no more needles, dont have to hussle for money and i dont have to deal with the SCUM that sell the shit. Iv gone from $150 aday habit to paying only $6 aday for my methadone. methadone DOES help ppl, it sure helped me. in a couple of months im switching to suboxone. The path im on now has alot more hope than the path of a junkie.

  14. mmt is a vey risky thing. I have been on mthadone for 4-5 years now and it is a trap. I was using O.C.’s for 4 yrs prior and it did help me recover from that but now I am on something even harder to get off of. And where I live none if the detox facilities will even take a methadone patient aynmore. Being that iit is so dangerous. I feel stuck. Subutex or soboxone is my only other option and that too is a trap. Believe I tried it as well. I know there is real hope I just pray I find it…

  26. Methadone saved my life!!! i thought i would never again be the person i was before heroin, but i am back to being me. it truely saved my life. i didn’t think i would ever be able toquit. i went into detox 16 times!! nothing was working, then i found a methadone clinic, and i owe them my life!! I am now clean from heroin and methadone and am a normal clean and sober contributing member of society! thanks methadone.

Better than a Hollywood production all of your videos are so touching for me personally.
Many people need to see and hear your work.
    It will make them think.

  36. Great vid. If only all the anti-methadone people knew that they are costing lives with their negative attitude and the stigma they help attach to methadone may cause someone to not seek that last line of defense. I am a MMT patient and since I have been in treatment(4yrs+)I have not failed one drug screen, havent taken anything stronger than tylenol and feel better than I have felt in years. MMT works. If you think you cant stop opiate abuse..consider methadone. Please. It can and will save you.

  38. Great vid. Addiction is pure misery and hell..methadone saved my life, however,I only urge people to resort to methadone AFTER they have tried other treatment options. Methadone does work if used properly..it is a miracle. However,in the wrong hands and abused..it can be deadly. Good luck to all of my brothers and sisters who are out there fighting the same enemy that I fight every day. Peace.

  40. Impressed, well put together and thoughtful video. Some addicitons are legal and some aren’t. To me any drug addiciton (heroin, cocain or alcohol) is sad and should be treated as a health problem not a criminal one. I posted a song here called “For Want of a High” you may want to check out. I am just sick and tired of turning otherwise good people into criminals and increasing the profits for organized crime. Thanks for post I’m going back for a second viewing.

  42. This is a very well put together video with a great message of hope. I really feel your deisire to help. I think addiction to any drug (whether heroin, cocain or alcohol) should be treated as a health issue and not a criminal one. We should legalize, educate and help those caught in any addiction. To me the war on drugs just turns people into criminals and props up the profit margin of organized crime. You may want to check out a song I posted called “For Want of a High”. Thanks for yours.

  44. Thank You for your comment. I just wanted to make sure all the options (including what worked for me) were on the video because what works for one may not work for another. The important thing is to get help.

  48. Very good. Pity though that NA has been shown not to work at all. Check the Orange Papers.
