well am on 1ml methadone a day for 5 days then thats me completed the weaning.

Well i droped from 4ml to 2ml on Monday & i slept like a log, had no pains, no cramps, no leg ache, bone ache, no nothing.

lol? What are you a 13 year old girl? You keep mentioning ml’s but its the amount of milligrams per ml that matters. And if you stop at 5 ml, even if its just 1mg per ml, you WILL go through withdrawals. Methadone has the strongest and longest withdrawals of any opiate/opioid. Thats a fact look it up. Im glad methadone works for some but for most it doesnt work. Its not any magic bullet and someone who wants to deal with their addiction wouls be better served with ibogaine or atleast suboxone

Dont even try to conversate with this idiot. He talks about how wonderful methadone is but he doesnt mention hes still currently addicted to it. Ibogaines so expensive but he doesnt even pay for his own treatment. If the worlds governments devoted the time and money to research Ibogaine it and offered it up as a nonprofit treatment then it would be more cost effective than methadone treatment. Especially when you consider its not a year or longer process and the success rate is way higher on it.

I think this says different.

America needs a NHS but they are so fixed on money money money, thats all it is.

I’m not a nationalist. Don’t think that I’m trying to say the US system is better than any other. It’s worse than most. The problem is that nothing is actually free. Someone always has to pick up the bill in the end. Government programs are no exception. If it’s the best way you currently have though, go for it. No shame in getting clean, even if you have to rely on the state for a bit.

Now, I’m still not sure what you have against Ibogaine except that it’s risky…

They NHS is tax payers, sorry but the NHS is offered to all people, working & non working.

You know like when we are sick & we get rushed to hospital, we dont get a hefty bill like in america.

Now the Drug Clinic is CHARITY FUNDED, not tax payers paying for it.

The Methadone we get perscribed, if you dont work then you get it free, if you do work then you pay per prescription for a week it cost £6.25

So its a win win

Everything is a risk though. The question is, how big of a risk is it? There are what, 500 deaths annually from aspirin? Most of which are children? That’s not going to stop me taking aspirin. Or driving a car. Or flying. The deaths associated with ibogaine are very few. Do you have the exact number?

I’ve read lots of accounts of Ibogaine and I have yet to read about a bad trip. I’m sure it’s possible, but maybe it’s not very common. You talk as if you’ve tried it. Have you?

It’s illegal for the same reason that cannabis is illegal. Governments aren’t interested in helping addicts recover, they’re interested in, well, themselves.
